The scanner beeped, lights flashed, and the motor to the belt was running. Alicia was running around fixing the cashiers problems. Sometimes the problems were alcohol, cigarettes, voids, and sometimes a pickup. Alicia Durham has worked at Market Basket since she was fourteen. She loves working there. She works more than five hours. She got her sister a job at Market Basket too. Alicia has long blonde hair and she does different things with it. She has puffy red cheeks. She is really short, and she is eighteen. She lives in Greenville, New Hampshire; she goes to school in a hospital to become a nurse she wants to go to college in Florida to get her nursing degree. She believes in God she loves to eat m&m’s, drink powerade, or mountain dew. She plays soccer every day with her sister. She wants to be a nurse because she wants to help people who have cancer because she watched her grandfather die when he had cancer and that’s what makes her want to be nurse.

She is with her sister Saisha. Alicia sister looks just like her but has brown hair. She is fourteen and her best friend is her sister Alicia. They love each other more than anyone in the world. Alicia doesn’t want to go away to college because she doesn’t want to leave her family. Alicia and her sister Saisha is miss. Goody goodies. They go to church every Wednesday and Sunday because her family is religious. Alicia is having some problems about going to college because she doesn’t want to lose her sister because of her going. In Alicia’s head she trying thinks if she should go or not. She is losing herself to her mind. It’s impossible to make a decision without knowing what her sister thinks about the whole college going away thing. So Alicia went to work the next day with her sister they got there and Alicia went in and an hour after she went in her sister came in.

“Hey Sasha I have a question for you!” Said Alicia
“What is the question?” said Saisha
“What do think about me going to college?” Said Alicia
“I think you should go because you need your degree to get a job as a nurse and it’s always been your dream to be a nurse!” said Saisha
“Yeah I know it just seems weird leaving you but ok I’ll go!” said Alicia
“Nothing is going to change between us and I’ll always love you!” said Saisha
“Okay we will talk more later at lunch about the whole thing!” said Alicia
“Okay talk to you later bye!” said Saisha
“Bye!” said Alicia
Then a customer came along and Saisha got to work and Alicia and fixed other cashiers lights. Alicia was running around doing everything because the boss was on break for an hour. The other assistant wouldn’t in until a half an hour later than they were suppose to. The other assistant’s name was April. She was never late, but today she was late because there was a lot of traffic. She came in late Alicia was really mad about her being late. They worked together and everything started slow down barely any customers. It was really early in the morning. So they started a conversation because they were bored.
“Hey how are you?” said April
“Good and you?” said Alicia
“Great I get to work with you I haven’t worked with you in awhile!” said April
“Yeah I know it just the boss doesn’t like us working together
Because we talk too much like now!” said Alicia
“Well, that’s because we are really good friends!” said April
“Yeah I know but we need to cut down oh here comes the boss!” said Alicia
“Yeah I guess your right!” said April
That was the end of the conversation because the boss came over because he is off break. Alicia was helping because it was starting to pick up with the customers coming non-stop. Everything was going really fast one after another customer was coming. Alicia had to open up because line eleven was all filled up with the ten items or less line so Alicia opened another ten items or less line. She shut down her register and started to help April out with fixing the problems. Alicia was standing up front for someone to have problem and the boss Noel started to talk to her.
“Have you decided to go to college yet?” said the boss
“No not yet why?” said Alicia
“I was just wondering because someone with your talent should go to college!” said the boss
“Yeah I know it’s just I don’t want leave my friends, family, and my sister especially!” said Alicia
“I doubt anything going to change at all because she loves you. She wants what’s best for you!” said the boss
“Yeah, my sister going to talk about it at lunch today she said!” said Alicia
“Okay I just want to know what is going on!” said the boss
“Now you know there is a light flashing I got to go!” said Alicia
“Okay!” said the boss
Then the conversation stopped and she went and fixed the light and came back and stood there waiting for something to happen. Then it was lunch time for her and her sister Saisha. Saisha used her time card and waited for her sister her sister came after awhile. The boss wouldn’t let her go until she got her drawer flushed out. She came and used her time card and her sister and Alicia went off to lunch. They ordered what they wanted and sat down.
“So back to what we were talking about at work what did you want me to say?” said
Saisha
“I just want make sure your okay with the whole change with me going to college!”
Said Alicia
“I’m okay with it just that I don’t want to be alone because you know I do everything with you!” said Saisha
“Is that how you feel about me leaving?” said Alicia
“Yeah I don’t want you to go but I also want the best for you!” said Saisha
“Well, we have from now until I leave to go to college to hang out!” said Alicia
“Yeah I know but you are still leaving I’ll try to pretend nothing is going to happen until then!” said Saisha
“Okay if you are okay with me leaving then I guess I’ll go!” said Alicia
“I love you and I hope you make the decision for your future!” said Saisha
“Okay I will!” said Alicia
“Good!” said Saisha
“Well we should get to work are half hour break is over!” said Alicia
“Yeah I guess we should!” said Saisha
“I’ll see you when we get off of work I promise I’ll go!” said Alicia
“Ok good I hope you make the right decision!” said Saisha
“I will!” said Alicia
Then they went off to work and Alicia made her decision that she was going to go to college and have a good education.
